Article 1 – Purpose and acceptance These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the RevPartsWorks website and its services ("the Site"). They supplement the Terms of Sale, which alone govern purchases made on the Site. Browsing the Site constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

Article 2 – Site publisher The Site is published by Louis Duchêne, sole trader (micro-enterprise) trading as RevPartsWorks, 8 Impasse des Bolets, 53210 Argentré, France – SIRET 10676088700013 – Companies Register of Laval – revpartsworks@gmail.com. VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. Host: Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland.

Article 3 – Access to the Site The Site is accessible free of charge, 24/7, subject to maintenance, updates and interruptions beyond the publisher's control (hosting failure, network outage, force majeure). The publisher endeavours to keep the Site available but cannot guarantee continuous availability. Internet access and equipment costs remain the user's responsibility.

Article 4 – Customer account Creating an account is not required in order to place an order. If you create one, you undertake to provide accurate information and keep it up to date, and to keep your login details confidential. Any action taken from your account is deemed to have been taken by you. Tell us without delay if you become aware of unauthorised use. You may request deletion of your account at any time by email.

Article 5 – Intellectual property All elements of the Site — the RevPartsWorks name and logo, texts, product descriptions, photographs, videos, illustrations, layout and code — are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of the publisher or its licensors. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, on any medium, without prior written authorisation, is prohibited and constitutes infringement (Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code).

The parts sold on the Site are designed and modelled by the publisher. Design files (CAD, STL and similar) are neither supplied nor assigned with the purchase of a part. Purchasing a product confers ownership of the physical object only, and no rights whatsoever in its design. Without written authorisation, the following are prohibited in particular: 3D scanning, moulding, reverse engineering or reproduction of a part with a view to manufacturing or selling it, as well as commercial reuse of the photographs on the Site.

Article 6 – Use of the Site Users undertake to use the Site in accordance with the law and these Terms of Use. The following are prohibited in particular: any attempt at unauthorised access, any interference with the integrity or security of the Site, large-scale automated extraction of content (scraping), the introduction of malicious code, and identity theft. The publisher reserves the right to suspend access to the Site in the event of a clear breach, without prejudice to orders already placed and paid for.

Article 7 – User-submitted content If you post or send content (a review, a photo of your installation, a message, a suggestion), you warrant that you hold the rights to it and that it is not unlawful, defamatory or contrary to public decency. You grant the publisher, free of charge and on a non-exclusive basis, the right to reproduce and display that content on the Site and its social media, for as long as it remains published. You may request its removal at any time by email. The publisher may remove any manifestly unlawful content without notice.

Article 8 – Technical information and compatibility Vehicle compatibility information, dimensions and specifications published on the Site are given as a guide and in good faith. Since vehicles may have been modified, facelifted or previously repaired, it is for the user to verify compatibility with their own vehicle before ordering. Article 9 – External links The Site may contain links to third-party sites (social media, partners, carriers). Those sites are independent; the publisher exercises no control over their content and accepts no liability in respect of them.

Article 10 – Liability The publisher cannot be held liable for loss arising from temporary unavailability of the Site, an obvious clerical error in published content, or the use of unsuitable equipment by the user. Nothing in these Terms limits in any way the legal guarantees and consumer rights conferred by law, which are set out in the Terms of Sale: the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), the 14-day right of withdrawal (Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and liability for defective products (Articles 1245 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

Article 11 – Personal data and cookies The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, in accordance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) and French data protection law. The use of cookies is described in the Cookie Policy. You may exercise your rights at any time at revpartsworks@gmail.com.

Article 12 – Changes to these Terms of Use The publisher may amend these Terms of Use at any time. The applicable version is the one online at the time of browsing. For orders, only the Terms of Sale in force on the date of the order apply.

Article 13 – Governing law, mediation and disputes These Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of difficulty, first contact the publisher at revpartsworks@gmail.com. Under Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumers may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator to which the publisher belongs: CM2C – 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France – www.cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php – litiges@cm2c.net. The European online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Failing an amicable agreement, the competent French courts will have jurisdiction, subject to the protective rules applicable to consumers.
