One sensor. One tap. Two readings.
The OPT-1 displays your engine's oil pressure and oil temperature. It came out of a simple observation: everywhere else, watching those two values means two sensors, two engine taps, two looms — and two places to leak.
The OPT-1 uses a combined Bosch PST-F1 sensor that measures both in the same place: a single fitting on the engine. Designed, developed and assembled in France.

Engine speed
The OPT-1 also reads engine speed, and that is what makes its alarm intelligent. It connects to the coil, an injector or your ECU's tacho output.
Setup takes seconds on screen: you enter your number of cylinders, and that's it. Engine speed is then displayed live.
Don't want to run that wire? The OPT-1 also works in pressure-only mode, without losing any of its other functions.
An alarm that follows engine speed
This is the function that changes everything. Instead of a fixed threshold that screams at idle or stays silent when it matters, the OPT-1 accepts a pressure × rpm curve with 2 to 8 points, interpolated automatically between points.

Built-in G-meter
Swipe left to open the G dial: a dot moves with acceleration, braking and cornering load, with a trail showing the movement and the session peak stored.
This is not a gimmick. A pressure drop that happens exactly as lateral G builds is oil surge — not a tired pump. In a log file the two look alike; with G recorded alongside pressure, you can tell them apart.
The same dial is available on the web dashboard. The housing's orientation is calibrated with a long press, however it is mounted in the car.
Session logging
One press starts recording: pressure, temperature, engine speed, alarm threshold and G forces, ten times per second, time-stamped.
Internal memory holds around 2.5 hours of continuous recording — easily several track sessions. When it fills up, the oldest session is deleted automatically, so recording never stalls.
Files download as a spreadsheet and open straight in Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice — no special software to install.
WiFi and web dashboard
The OPT-1 creates its own WiFi access point. From a phone or a computer you open a web dashboard to follow live data, edit the pressure/rpm curve, download your recordings and run firmware updates. No software to install. Every unit carries a unique identifier.
Reliability and electrical protection
A gauge that quits at the wrong moment is worthless. The OPT-1 includes a watchdog, a reboot log, memory monitoring, configuration validation and permanent storage of your settings.
On the electrical side: over-voltage protection (OVP), reverse-polarity protection, TVS diodes and EMC filtering. Seven test points on the board and a serial number stored twice.

Where the project stands
The OPT-1 is currently in beta testing. The circuit board is designed in-house, the firmware is complete and working, and the first units are running on real vehicles. It will go on sale once this phase is finished.
